Subsequently, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut, followed by fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center. During his fellowship, his primary research focus was on sarcoidosis.
Holding dual board certifications in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
