Toronto, Ontario Jun 7, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - With a diversity of conversations taking place across the country about the path forward for Canada to reach its net-zero goals, Energy Storage Canada and presenting sponsors, Hydro One and SunGrid, are pleased to host two days of dynamic discussions about the important role energy storage can play in accelerating Canada’s energy transition. This year’s program includes technical workshops, ten diverse panels, multiple high-level keynote speakers, a CEO roundtable, an evening networking event, and a tradeshow.
“We’re pleased to be back in person to continue demonstrating the critical role energy storage will play in the energy transition and to work with our members and other stakeholders in Canada’s energy industry to ensure the continued development & growth of the sector,” says ESC Executive Director, Justin Rangooni.
New this year to the conference will be ESC’s Energy Storage Awards, which will recognize and celebrate the development, success, and leadership within Canada’s energy storage sector.
Submissions of nominations for three categories – the Energy Storage Milestone Award, the Landmark Application of Energy Storage Award, and the Champion of Diversity Equity & Inclusion in Energy Storage Award - will be accepted until August 8, 2022. Recipients will receive their awards as part of the final day of the conference on October 12. Full details are available on the conference website provided below.
