Brooke Olivieri, a 12-year-old residing in Kingwood, TX, and a 7th grader at Riverwood Middle School, has ignited a cultural flame in her community. Since the age of two, Brooke has nurtured a profound love for all things Japanese. Now, she's transforming that passion into a vibrant hub for local youngsters with the inauguration of The Japanese Culture Club of Kingwood, TX. This club, tailored for students aged 10-16, beckons those with an affinity for the Japanese language, cuisine, traditions, and artistic expressions.

The inaugural meeting will take place on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 6:30 PM at Crust Pizza in Kingwood, TX. With an enthusiastic response, 17 local students have already enrolled for the event. The agenda promises an engaging lineup, including introductions to foster camaraderie, trivia with prizes, and deliberations on future activities, culminating in a sweet finale featuring a taste of authentic Japanese candy.
