New York City, New York Sep 22, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Musician, Businessman, and Entrepreneur Tim Trilioni is not a novice in the world of business. His latest business venture seeks to acquire Beat Papi, a music composition, promotion, and contract management company.
Tim Trilioni says he would like to take Beat Papi to “new heights and revolutionize industry standards.” Tim Trilioni asserts “artists are unhappy with their outcomes. Many don’t know where their money has gone, why such hefty bills are being tacked on to their tabs, and most importantly, the communication between label and artist is less than favorable for many musicians (TimTrilioni, September, 2020).”
Earlier this week Kanye West commented in Rolling Stone, lamenting over issues with his label and contracts (Rolling Stone, September, 2020). He tagged Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar, employing his fellow musicians to stand up against large labels; which West cited as ‘unfair handling of artist and monies due them(ETVOnline, September, 2020).’
When asked if he agreed with Kanye West, Tim Trilioni exclaimed, his "vision and issue is not with the large labels." Trilioni then stated “we are simply modernizing the industry. We are working with artists and labels, with the artist as a primary here. We offer consultation to artists, providing smart contracts to musicians, and providing alternative streams of income to these acts so that they are not totally reliant upon their label’s payments to earn the extra income they desire and rightly deserve. Labels are important. However, artists should be able to enterprise to their full capacity without roadblocks.”
In response to the development of Beat Papi and the push for artist autonomy, R& B music fan, and UPN intern, Lisa McCormick stated, "I just want good music and artists to be happy enough to keep making it." Beat Papi is expected to start full-scale operation in late November of this year! The company will offer music composition services, integration protocols, smart contracts, and streaming services. Tim Trilioni states "the organization will also cater to the indie artist, putting fresh new talent out there--giving them a greater chance to make new fans and further their music career."
