That Day May Come Believes You!

Art Imitating Life.

Los Angeles, California Aug 14, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - We believe you! That Day May Come is a short film that aims to end the stigma surrounding the credibility of domestic violence survivors. With 1 in 4 women in the United States experiencing domestic violence every year and 1 in 15 children baring witness to such an atrocity, this is not a commodity. It’s an epidemic.

Love, Family, Drama, and a struggle for freedom are what sets this film apart from the pack. When two sisters from a rural community make the decision to raise a child away from her abusive father, they resign themselves to a life of secrecy and heartache, but when the child is taken, the sisters must finally confront the face of their fears, or risk losing their family forever. That Day May Come is as much a product of the screenwriters' imagination, as it is a reflection of the daily lives of many women and children across the globe.

With these statistics in mind, and armed with a story that has the potential to change lives, this project has partnered with Seed&Spark to raise $15,000 that will go towards the production of their transformative film. That Day May Come has pledged to host a series of screenings for this film that will directly benefit charities that promote the assistance of families victimized by domestic abuse.
