After which, a new government group, The Faction, rose and infiltrated major cities around the world. People had begun adjusting to a new life of extreme poverty and starvation and humanity was on the brink of extinction when they swooped in with food, shelter, and promises. From the surface, everything looks normal, except for the armed guards patrolling the streets.
Lakeisha Jackson of Golden Hour Films, known as the creator, writer, and executive producer of the vampire series Sunrise Tonight, will launch a crowdfunding campaign for the web series, SHINY NEW THINGS via Seed and Spark (https://www.seedandspark.com/fund/shinynewthings). The series will be directed by Jackson. SHINY NEW THINGS is a dark sci-fi digital series exploring power, vengeance, and sacrifice in an uncertain future, from an inclusive perspective.
