Tim Trilioni, now Dr. Trilioni, has gone fully scholastic developing the first of its kind online journal related to Ethnic Psychology. Trilioni asserted, “the journal is meant to assist individuals affected by the heightened racialized issues we are currently seeing.” However, Trilioni made it clear that “this journal is not just for the ethnic community but all individuals to educate themselves on the phenomenological experiences of our diverse community in the US.” Trilioni went on to say “we must work to restore order and bring justice and equilibrium to our great nation. This includes trained law enforcement and citizens alike.” Trilioni stated “ diversity is a powerful thing and America is the epitome of both powerful and diverse. Let’s make this thing great.”
Trilioni has been in the field, adamantly speaking with individuals in the community about their psychological wellbeing, and how they have been affected while living through these trying times. He says people are increasingly growing more concerned over riots, killings of ethnic minorities and the general sense of instability in this country. Trilioni stated, “ despite the growing mental distress many are facing, the topic of Mental Health is rarely mentioned as a restorative-must, to remedy social unrest and anxieties related to Coronavirus.” Trilioni goes further to say, “we need to be actively checking up on one another and sending messages of hope to those around us.”
Trilioni mentions he is prepared to work directly with law enforcement in developing strategies to heal communities alongside his advocacy for mental health as well as continuing his musical endeavors.
