Mission to Find New Planet to Live in Turns to Chaos in Debut Book

Space explorers’ discovery goes horribly wrong in latest fiction

Los Angeles, California Mar 25, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - Author Dan Freeman’s debut science fiction, “Star Born: Book 1” follows Captain Christopher Wolf and his space crew as they venture into the unknown for a scientific mission with hopes of finding a new inhabitable planet for scientific exploration. Aboard the SS Albert Einstein, they chance upon a planet with the potential to find cures to various illnesses such as cancer and other unknown diseases. Before a landing party could instigate, Captain Wolf suddenly orders his crew to abandon ship. Darkness ensues, leaving them at a lost on who or what’s behind it.

The book is the author’s first installment for his upcoming series of work. Bonnie Williams, an Amazon reader, highly recommends the book especially for young readers. She writes in her review that “the storyline keeps you reading and it is set up well for the sequel that is coming for this series.” She adds that from the moment you start reading, “you want to know what happens next” because of the way it’s written.

Authors Press will showcase “Star Born: Book 1” at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books to be held at the University of Southern California campus this coming April 13 to 14, 2019. Freeman’s book will be exhibited at Authors Press’ booth number 937.  Readers from all ages, including filmmakers and movie producers, will get an exclusive preview of his work during the festivities.
