John C. Morley has conducted a variety of science experiments ranging from simple physics experiments to exploding soda bottles.
Not only do his weekly videos teach interesting scientific laws and facts, but also valuable life lessons your students will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
One experiment involving soda bottles and mentos relates back to human interactions teaching children that talking behind people’s backs has consequences and can set off a series of chain reactions.
During another Science Friday event, Morley built a water xylophone and demonstrated that although a group of individuals may look the same on the exterior, they each have different experiences and unique traits on the inside. This teaches children not to judge a book by its cover.
