Thane, Maharashtra Jan 17, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - The journey of Sociochat is a very interesting and inspiring one. It began in the month of April in 2020. The Founder and CEO Atharva Shinde and The Co-founder and MD Ayush Singh was feeling ‘bored’ at home and wanted to try something new. Realizing that others too were bored due to the lockdown, they thought of killing everyone’s boredom. Since they both had ample interest in coding and programming, they decided to develop an application where everyone could share their ideas, chat with their dear ones, and entertain themselves. Starting from the mid of April, Atharva and Ayush began designing the application, the logo and the name were selected, a server was found and the programming began in May. Being in grade 10, they had to study alongside completing the programming of the app. When the app was ready by mid of June, the team of two and another classmate, who later became the Network Moderator, Ms. Dhanalakshmi Sadarla together tested the application on various parameters, found some errors and bugs. Finally, when the road was clear, Sociochat was released on 28 June 2020. Various developments and updates were implemented. Seeing our growing audience and efforts, we were ranked 44th out of 101 startups by Startup Pill.
On the 18th of October 2020, we held a customer meeting to inform you about our new SocioScore scheme that gives customers and users a chance to redeem coupons. This initiative of ours was also appreciated by The Lokmat Media Maharashtra.
One major issue was that Sociochat was not available on the Google Play Store; it was launched via another application. There was a major jump and boost when Sociochat was available on the Google Play Store from 13 November 2020 on the occasion of Diwali! Standing at 250+ members and 200+ downloads Sociochat aims at growing to a larger network and reaching every mobile phone and electronic device to put a smile on everyone’s face. Adding two more members to the team, the Social Media Strategist Mast. Somasi Jayaram Deep and the Chief Marketing Officer Mast. Kshiteej Ambade, Sociochat has seen positive growth by attracting members to purchase their business plans.
