Mumbai, Maharashtra Mar 25, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - It was a packed gathering for designer Shakuntala Shetty and brand Adhya at St. Regis for the Bombay Times Fashion Week. The show stopper was actress Sana Khan. Shakuntala Shetty’s collection takes an all-encompassing appeal from Bespoke traditional and ethnic wear to bridal wear to cocktail gowns and lehengas and drape sarees.
Adhya came into being five years ago and primarily houses Sarees from different states of India. These comprise of an eclectic range of Banarasis to Kanvjivarams silks.
Applauding the models and the designer from row one was Viveck Shettyy, Motivational Speaker and Mystic and Dr Sejal Ajmera. Also present were real estate wizard Vishal Wadhwani and Sadanand Shetty, Developer and hotelier. Umesh Pherwani was accompanied by his wife Shweta. Longines Fernandes was in high spirits and so was politician and social worker Krishna Hegde. Former World Yatching Champion Farokh Tarapore and his wife Anahita were all praise for the elegant collection put together by designer Shakuntala Shetty.
The evening wound up over some lip-smacking dinner at South High, Lower Parel. Suraj Shetty, as usual, was a host par excellence and maintained his high quality and service standards. Laughter Champion Uday Dahiya had the guests in splits with his witty one-liners and the celebrations continued till the wee hours.
